Farmer’s Market To Table
Tour & Cooking Class Sun. August 7th 12 pm
Join us as Suzanne Landry, author of the Passionate Vegetable, tours you through the Ojai Certified Organic Market to find the seasonal foods for the cooking class. This will be a whole experience of cooking dishes that are made of freshly picked, seasonal & local vegetables & fruits and goods. The class begins with a tour of the Farmer’s market, next door to the Culinary School and continues in the kitchen, where Suzanne will show you what amazing dishes you can make with the foods right in your back yard! It doesn’t get Fresher than this!
The Menu Includes : Stuffed Fresh Figs with Goat Cheese, Wrapped in Prosciutto, Tangerine & Roasted Beet Salad with Feta Cheese, Wild Caught Salmon Quiche with Peas, Fresh Dill & Thyme , Chilled Strawberry Rhubarb Soup
